Quite a few crocsters turned out to race the first race of the QTS series.1500 competitors milled around (a huge number considering the Bribie Island triathlon was on the same day!)

Thanks to Robin for arriving early and putting up the tent. It is great to wait out your time with other crocs. Doddy came to cheer us on as well as other family and friends.

We were trying to ease Jacki’s  nerves as she awaited her first ever triathlon start. What a great effort! - she moved from interstate, hardly knew anyone, joined a tri squad and started racing. She was smiling at the end and I think she will be back for more. She ended up with a very impressive 10^th in her Enticer race.

I was lucky enough to get a Scody sponsorship for the series and wear a new pretty pink and white number for the first time.

The racing was great and the weather was too.

Margo and I won our age groups and Jarred had a fantastic win in his category.  Hayden, Paul, Jacki and  Hannah  had  great top 10 finishes as well.
